FAQs
What can I do at Wish?
We offer ceramic and canvas painting, as well as clay hand building, with no appointment needed. We also have various scheduled classes on various mediums including pottery wheels, clay hand building, ceramic painting and more.
Can I just walk in and paint?
Yes, you can walk in any time during our open hours to paint any project off our shelves. We recommend coming in at least 45-60 minutes before closing time to give yourself enough time to choose and paint your project. We also offer walk-in canvas painting and clay hand building (for ages 8+) during our open hours. If you'd like to use our pottery wheels, you need to book a class in advance. *Please note: you need at least 60 minutes to complete a canvas or clay project.*
What are your hours?
Weβre open every day! Sunday 12-5, Monday - Wednesday 12-6, Thursday 12-8, and Friday - Saturday 10-8.
How much does it cost?
Our studio pricing is all-inclusive, so we do not have additional fees for studio time, paints, or firing. Our projects start at $20 and go up in price depending on the size and complexity of the piece.
Do I need a reservation?
We do not offer reservations, our studio is first-come, first-serve. We have a lot of available seating and space in our studio. If youβd like to reserve a private space for your group, you can check out our private event options for kids and adults.
How long does it take for my piece to be ready?
Ceramic pieces are ready for pickup 8 days after painting. Clay and wheel pieces can take up to 14 days to be fired. We glaze and fire every piece on site. After firing, weβll hold your piece for 45 days. Canvas projects are brought home with you the day you paint. We can ship your pieces if needed once theyβre ready.
Can I actually use my painted piece?
After your piece is fired and returned to you, it is fully food-safe and usable. We recommend hand washing or top rack only of the dishwasher to preserve the life of your piece.
Can we sit outside?
Currently we are not offering outdoor seating. But, we can pack up any piece the studio in a to-go kit if youβd like to take your project to a different location.
Can I bring food and drinks?
Guests can bring water bottles and drinks, and those 21+ can BYOB. However, food and snacks are not allowed in our studio unless you have booked a private event or are attending a class.
